TCCC began by faith in 1999 with a small group of committed people who set forth the original vision of prayer, biblical teaching, discipleship, and every member involvement. The name “The Carpenter’s Christian Church” was chosen to show future generations that Jesus was originally a carpenter, and that God still gives his followers practical talents and spiritual gifts to accomplish his ministry today.

The congregation has experienced unusual unity of purpose under its two senior ministers—Don Hill was the founding minister and Greg Warren, the current senior minister, followed in 2003. These two men still serve together on TCCC’s board of elders. Early in its history the congregation, while meeting in numerous rented facilities, established a three-phase vision which would include a multi-purpose building, gymnasium, and main worship and education center. In a significant step of faith, the small congregation purchased the land and today all three phases have been completed with over 800 people attending each week.

In 2024, TCCC celebrated twenty-five years of remarkable growth. It is a church where people experience God’s love, personal discipleship, and involvement in one of the many ministries that are reaching out to people at church and in the community.

Today, there is a place for everyone, a beautiful baby nursery, an exciting children’s program, a vibrant and relevant student ministry, great worship, Bible preaching and teaching, small groups for fellowship and meeting specific needs, a personal discipleship program, a great seniors ministry, a volunteer place of service where every member can effectively serve, plus much more.

From the beginning TCCC has always had a warm family-type atmosphere, a place where all are welcome, and people can truly love God and one another!
